Hi and welcome to the group. I created this group to learn about the different community and neighborhood parks of Evansville, IN. My goal last summer ('07) was to visit every park in the city with my kids. Other parents I talked to liked that idea and wanted to join in.
So that is how this got started. Here we talk about what parks we would like to go to and when are good times to met. When we decide on a place and time we put it on the calendar and others can come to the park to met us that day, too.

It is good for the kids to have others to play with and for the parents to have others to talk to also. And most of us feel safer when there are more eyes on the playground watching our kids.
So anyway, I hope you decide to join in. Tell us about yourself and what parks you have been to and what ones you want to go to. I'm sure we will want to go there too.
There are over 40 parks to visit here in Evansville and we want to play at them all this summer.

M-Y G-O-A-L is to set 2 times and places a week. One a bigger park, one a smaller park with one on a weekday and one on the weekend. That way to get as many people as possible able to participate.

We had such a great time last year, let's continue the fun!!!
