This on line, email community supports families who have adopted from, are in the process, or considering, adopting from Ethiopia. Information about Ethiopian culture, orphanages can be shared & families can network with each other at all stages of one's adoption journey.

Members can be prospective parents regardless of their country of origin. We have many members for whom English is a second language. Be sensitive to this when discussing adoption rules & please specify your country when you do.

Even though our numbers continue to grow quickly, this list is a very supportive place where people have felt comfortable to discuss the often emotional journey adoption, the joys & frustrations, their fears and hopes.

After you apply (and in the message box please state why you are applying for group membership or you request will be automatically denied), you will receive a set of our guidelines. By reading and/or posting on our list you are agreeing to abide by the terms listed within. You do NOT need to reply to the list owner (or do anything else other than read the guidelines) when you receive the guidelines. Please note that any reference to religion/god needs a warning in the subject line. We have people on this list from all faiths and try very hard to be welcoming to all.
