Welcome to our "virtual bulletin board." This group is to distribute news of environmental events going on in the greater Los Angeles area.

We are the Environmental Change-Makers of the Westchester area of Los Angeles (www.EnviroChangeMakers.org). We hold free public monthly meetings on a wide variety of environmental topics. Our focus is What We Can Do - positive, proactive solutions to our environmental issues. We tend to distribute our own meeting notices through our GoogleGroup at http://groups.google.com/group/envirochangemakers so if you want the lower-volume version with ONLY OUR MEETING NOTICES, please subscribe over there.

As a presence in the Los Angeles environmental scene, we get a lot of email notices of the meetings of other area groups. We've noticed that public bulletin boards are disappearing around town and empathize with the difficulty of distributing information. Thus we are trying this egroup as a means of sharing the messages of other groups with the public.
