Description

Discussion group and mailing list for sailors, owners and others interested in the Pearson Ensign sailboat.

The Ensign is a full keel boat with an overall length of 22 1/2 feet and a displacement of about 3000 pounds. The Ensign's relatively shallow draft of 3 feet makes it suitable for use in both medium-size and large bodies of water. The Ensign is the largest class of full keel boats in North America.

This group will concentrate on discussion of sailing techniques, maintenance, restoration and modifications to the Ensign. More detailed information about the Ensign, Ensign Fleets, Ensign activities and purchasing a new or used Ensign can be found at the Web site of the Ensign Class Association, http://www.ensignclass.com.
