Important note:

Currently, the Yahoogroups automated email subscriptions mechanism is *not*
working correctly.

You may have tried to subscribe to one or more Oshana Enlightenment E-Mailing
Lists and not been subbed. If you have not received recent posts from the Oshana
and/or Enlightenment-Now recently then you are not subscribed to them. Recently,
there have been several important teaching announcements and articles.

If you subscribe to any Yahoogroup by email you should receive an email headed
"Subject: Please confirm your request to join ... "
BUG - Yahoogroups automated email subscriptions

Unfortunately, if you are trying to subscribe to a yahoogroup and follow one of
the the options suggested by Yahoogroups - you will not be subscribed.
Yahoogroups have not fixed this problem.

Presently the only way to subscribe to a yahoogroup list is to visit the
yahoogroup JOIN webpage for the relevant list e.g.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/oshana/join

A similar page can be accessed by clicking the link supplied in the confirmation
request email sent if to you from yahoogroups when you try to subsctibe by
email.

However, to reiterate if you reply to confirmation request email then you will
*not* by subscribed even though yahoogroups state that you will. This is
probably due to a bug.

You may, if you wish reply to yahoogroups via their "help" pages. Howvever, it
is not always eay to find their help/support form. It appears to have been
removed nor was it possible for some people to access it.

http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/cgi_yesno - form fails to load in the browser for
some people. This could be as the result of a "spybot" product spam filter -
though yahoogroups have never suggested this.

Currently we have removed the yahoogroup subscription email addresses and only
provided yahoogroup links until this problem has been resolved.

We will also consider using a different email list provider as some users have
never found it easy to sub to yahoogroups and list-managers can only add 10
people per day
