Description
The Enfield Society, formerly the Enfield Preservation Society, aims to preserve and improve the amenities of Enfield, Middlesex, UK; to defend the Green Belt from encroachment; to protect any local place or building of beauty and historical interest; to preserve footpaths in and around Enfield; and to encourage good design in development in the borough. This group is for the discussion of any of these topics as well as other related aspects of Enfield, past, present and future.
The Enfield Society Management Committee has decided that messages will not be accepted for posting to the discussion group from people whose identity is unknown. We strongly prefer that messages should be signed with members' real names, but if there are good reasons for wishing to remain anonymous messages will be posted without names so long as a real name and address have been supplied to the group moderator. This may be done in an email message to EnfieldSociety-owner@yahoogroups.com
Messages should express members' individual views, and should not contain wording in their text or in signature blocks that could be taken to mean that the member is speaking on behalf of any political party.
