As many of you know, every even year since June, 2002, we have been having an Endicott Cousins Reunion. The 5th Reunion will be June 3-6, 2009 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY. Mark your calendars today. As in past years, we anticipate have the Registration Form available around January 1, 2010. Be watching for it on the EFA, Inc. web site at:
www.endecott-endicott. com By the way, we have a new webmaster, Doug Leary, husband of our Endicott Cousin Kay Kole Leary of Washingston State.
During the past 3 reunions we have dedicated a memorial to an Endicott ancestor. We have done the Moses Endicott Memorial at the Endicott Meeting House (2004); Thomas Endicott Memorial (2006) and Endicotts War of 1812 Memorial (2008) at the Poseyville, Posey County, IN Cemetery.
On June 5, 2010 we plan to dedicate a joint memorial (a single stone) to both Sarah Welch Endicott (1st wife of Thomas Endicott) and Martha Hill Endicott (1st wife of Moses Endicott). This stone will be designed around October, 2009 by Cousin Teddy Sanford and then go on a contract.
We begin this early so that we have time to do some serious research on the ancestor being honored. In this regard, I am interested in forming a research study group to see what we can learn about Sarah Welch Endicott and Martha Hill Endicott. Very little is known about them and their ancestry.
Would you be interested in being a part of this study group? If so, how can you help in this research?
We hope to have several who can assist and from our efforts to write up the results of our research to have available for handouts on June 5 during the dedication
