The purpose of this site is to create a unique education resource center for teachers, schools, parents, and social workers on the subject of educating children with Brain Tumors (medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, ependymoma, brain stem glioma, etc.).

The goals are:
1) To identify, categorize and disseminate relevant resources specifically through an extensive list of links and files. Key examples are http://www.pbtfus.org/informedparent3.htm and http://www.childrens.com/neuronc/neuro_effects1.htm.

2)To aid educators in locating appropriate information with ease such as school re-entry resources, late effect articles, and primers on brain tumors.

3) To assist parents through the complexity of schooling including information on school options, legal rights, and scholarships.

4) To provide a forum to ask questions from others who are on the same journey through the listserve. The archives will be available to members.

This information may also be helpful to other kids with childhood cancer.
