WANTED GROUP LEADER: Edinburgh Mums Group is looking for a new group leader! Could you run a mums group, and post invitations online to meetups, suggest venues such as Botanics or softplays and make arrangements to meet with other mums who are available? Could you be motivated enough to encourage enthusiasm in other mums and get people meeting up for playdates and evenings out such as bowling? Could you suggest fun online with things like photo competitions? Unfortunately other commitments stop me from having the time to keep the group meetups going but with so many members it's a shame to see it go to waste when everyone joins because they WANT TO MEET NEW PEOPLE! I'm Trudi and I am a mum with a 5 year old daughter. I live in Edinburgh with my husband, and I started this group at the beginning of 2004, with the aim of meeting more mums. Well I certainly did, and am very proud of how the group has grown.
