This group is for the purpose of going over the 'Mythological Lays' of the Elder Edda, starting with the Voluspa. What I intend to do is collect the thoughts and commentary of members of the Asatru community into a book on Eddaic theology considering that none exist.
While a number of works exist on the varying belief system none so far has been done collectively (in the style of Our Troth) on the Elder Edda. The book should include the opinions of all three major denominations of Asatru; those being Centrist, Folkish and Universalist. I hope to be able to paint a broad picture of the theology and belief surrounding this monumental basis for Our Faith, The Poetic Edda.
