WHO WE ARE
The Greater Newburyport Eco Collaborative mission is to “Foster Collaboration for a Greener Greater Newburyport”. The Eco Collaborative works to accomplish this mission by serving as an umbrella organization to support the plans, activities, and programs of the City, the Chamber and members of the Eco Collaborative’s Eco-Network. The Eco Collaborative also looks to assist with the planning, organizing, and communicating of green initiatives throughout the Greater Newburyport region’s municipalities, chambers of commerce, environmental groups and the broader community.

Ultimately the goal is to making the Greater Newburyport area known as an eco-enlightened place to live, work and play. A community dedicated to building a sustainability economy, helping to stop global warming, reducing our dependence on foreign oil and protecting our environment for future generations. We look to attract to the area like minded eco-enlightened individuals, businesses, and visitors that share in these goals and wish to take action to become part of the solution. The Greater Newburyport Eco Collaborative is pro-environmental, pro-economy and pro-community.
