Desk microphone if your going to work echolink in a
sitting position or Headset if you are wanting to
relax in the computer chair.  For me, it's the headset
because if you have background noise (television,
conversations) most microphones have noise
cancellation features.

I personally prefer the new wireless PC mics. You can find them on
ebay for around $50. They allow you to be walking around the yard or
house and still hear the audio on echoink. You can also set it up
for vox. However I have noticed this isnt really possable if you out
mowing the lawn or working in the yard HIHI

I am having problem with the DTMF functions. I have the interal setting
checked and running rigblast M8 the software dont even show the dtmf's
code are being press. can anyone help

I don't mind receiving the email announcements about various
Echolink Nets, as I'm always looking to update the Echolink Nets page
that I do at http://www.wx1der.com/elk.htm -- my appreciation to the
folks at The Six Meter Millenium Net (http://www.theneton6.net) for
suggesting it to me almost 2 years ago.

   However, in checking these announcements, the node information for
some of the listings are out of date, and I'm not sure how the times
are set up (they appear to be UTC). This is even more critical with
much of the U.S. returning to Standard Time this weekend.

   Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.
