Eccentric Pastiche (n): an odd hodgepodge of artistic and literary works, with an ample scattering of tea and insanity. To me, EccentricPastiche encompasses who I am -- it's the name of my zine and it defines my approach to art. EccentricPastiche is me!

Our group's Motto is "No T from which to be O"! Which means, I do not exercise extreme control over the group and the content of our conversations. I think that artistic inspiration is born of idle conversation, so please, feel free to speak your mind, and not worry about having the big, bad list mom scold you!

That being said, we appreciate a non-spam environment. If you are an art or 'zine vendor looking to sell your wares, please feel free to share with us what you have to sell, but also PLEASE take part in our conversations... this means ~ we want to know what you're selling, but we also want to get to know you! If you're an active member of this group, your COMMs or ADs are welcome here.

NOW CONSIDERING SUBMISSIONS FOR ISSUE 3 (Which will be issued... at some undetermined point in the future!): The Age of the Gilded Lily, A Tribute to Art Deco. Please forward your submissions (articles, poetry and/or artwork, preferably artwork inspired by the Art Deco movement) to eccentricpastiche@yahoo.com for consideration. All featured writers/poets will receive a free first edition copy of The Gilded Lily. I hope to have this issue ready for release sometime in 2009, but don't hold me to that!
