I would like to welcome you to the EasternOntarioScanning discussion forum.
This group is to provide discussions on conventional frequencies, trunked systems, monitoring tips and the latest equipment. Discussions are not limited to just scanning but almost any subject concerning two way radio or Amateur Radio.
Discussions for Municipalities throughout Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec are greatly appreciated.

City of Ottawa, Frontenac County, Hastings County, Prince Edward County, Lanark County, Lennox Addington County, Leeds Grenville County, Renfrew County, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry County, United Counties of Prescott Russell.
Police, Fire, Ambulance, New Provincial Government Radio System (Fleetnet), Business Radio, Trunk Tracking questions, Ham Radio, Eastern Ontario WX Topics.

In order to stem the flow of spam into the group, all new memberships need to be approved by a moderator. When joining the group, please include in your comments to the moderators a bit of information about yourself, such as the model(s) of scanners you own and your primary interests in the radio scanning hobby. Requests with blank comments may be delayed. Typically a membership request will be approved within a few hours. In addition, new members are moderated until they have made a couple of legitimate posts to the group.
If you elect to receive postings via e-mail, ensure you enter a valid e-mail address. Members with invalid e-mail addresses will be periodically removed. Members choosing a web-only setup won't be affected.
Spamming will not be tolerated and offenders immediately removed. "Scanner For Sale" postings are permitted, but please try to limit yourself to posting each item only once, and ask that all offers be made offline directly to you via e-mail.
