*Skateboard Park - we have sent a letter endorsing existing Takoma Park location, opposing the Burlington & Fenton site.
*Clean up the Parks
*liaison to other Citizen associations
*SSp Summer Concert series, represent ESSCA
*monitor & report on County committees, newspapers, Civic Center progress
*Traffic / transportation
*letter has been sent @PL saying that ESSCA ---is opposed to light rail or bus rapid transit ...as currently proposed.
---ESSCA supports low-impact transit options, such as DEEP TUNNELING, that will not disrupt existing transit-oriented communities
*Zoning
---sympathized w/ plight of 1st Baptist Church but supports keeping 60 ft height limit, not 90 ft in proposal, which exceeds height limit
