This Group is for the sole use of those who are home educating their own school age children in the East Anglia region (ie the counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex Cambridgeshire).

The purpose of the group is to allow easy networking for home educators (of any educational approach) over the entire region but is independent from any particular national HE (Home Education) organisation or local / regional HE social group.

Discussions on all home education matters are welcome including those concerning Local Authorities in the region and our interaction with them. Whilst this group is not aligned to any regional social HE group notification of relevant events and meetings which are taking or have taken place are welcome. The aim of the group is to be friendly and respectful toward each other at all times.

Membership is either by application, invitation, or personal recommendation by an existing member only. During the membership application process applicants are required provide: Their location (nearest town / village). Reasons for wanting to join. A brief description of their home education history. Details of other HE groups to which they may belong. ...using the comments to owner box. The group moderators reserve the right to refuse membership at their discretion.

Please note: This group is for home educators ONLY, it is NOT open to national or local government officials, the media, teachers, lawyers, or others curious about home education for the purpose of research or other reasons. Should you attempt to subscribe and be employed in any of the above your membership will be immediately terminated and a formal complaint made to your superiors/employers, internet service provider and other authorities as required.
