This is the listserv and web site for the core participants in Earth Rhythms.

Earth Rhythms presents experiential events, preserves natural places and provides assistance to those in need in the North Texas region, including the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Our multicultural, interfaith events serve people from many varied racial, spiritual and cultural backgrounds. We promote tolerance by fostering community ties and encouraging an engaged citizenry.

These events, including the long-running Winter SolstiCelebration, nurture environmental awareness and sustainable lifestyle choices. We lead by example through the practice of recycling and our use of green products.

Earth Rhythms plans to preserve open space by acquiring rural land for contemplative nature preserve and the creation of green cemeteries for ecologically sound burials that prevent chemical contamination of the planet from embalming fluids or the high energy use of cremation.

We also have a goal to provide limited financial support in times of need to members of the community who are facing emergency situations and provide microloans for small business assistance.

Earth Rhythms is a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Texas. We are in application process stage of acquiring 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
