RE-PLAYING PROCESS DRAMA
The 2011 TESOL-Drama/EV-Drama online workshop will allow participants to experience the work of Process Drama within a new framework, one especially designed for NEWCOMERS to drama and especially to Process Drama.
Process Drama is a new means of integrating the dramatic process within the ESL/EFL classroom to support the acquisition of English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. It can be used for a day, a month, or a life time. Don't miss acquainting yourself with this revolutionizing approach to language teaching.
TESOL-Drama began looking at process drama in the 2010 workshop. This year, we will approach process drama from the more practical perspective of process drama activities and conventions, and then move to the discussion of how these may be utilized within different contexts to support language learning.

TESOL-Drama is a membership community that discusses the use of drama techniques in second/foreign language teaching. From role plays to improvisation games to full-scale productions, language teachers throughout the world have long recognized the value of drama in all its forms. TESOL-Drama provides a forum for discussing best practices in language through drama, sharing classroom activities, and exploring the theoretical underpinnings of our work.
