This is a private list for ESI alumni, staff and students intended as a tool to promote unity and facilitate a high level of communication among its members. The ESI Alumni Association is open to ESI graduates, staff and students in good standing. This list is un-moderated - meaning the manager doesn't approve each email. However to better facilitate things it is best if a "few" rules are laid down... jokes, negative personal comments, or out right arguments will not be tolerated and members will be warned and suspended if necessary. Advertising can be problematic on a busy list - be reasonable if it is not bebeficial to the group - don't post it. The idea here is freedom of speech, respect for others, and professionalism. The freedom of speech might be curtailed... if it degrades the other two. Finally, remember that if you have confidential communications this is NOT a good place for it.
