The CDC/FDA/AAP/IOM have underestimated our resolve from the
beginning.
The steady and relentless drumbeat of our message is not going to go
away, no matter how many press releases they issue, or how many
meetings they have.

The CDC/FDA/AAP/IOM have a basic lack of understanding/lack of
empathy
for what families are going through, and this, in conjunction with
their arrogance, is why they are losing. Nothing and I mean nothing X
100, motivates like a 5 year old screaming and head banging. The only
thing they have motivating them is a paycheck; I'll take those
odds
every time.

I don't know why, but parents of autistic children happen to be
smarter
than the average couch potato, this coupled with motivation and
persistence is a winning combination. Persistence: why millionaires
have money and toddlers get what they want.
