I don't believe there is a ceiling either. For what it's worth, I started biomed and chelation on a 15 yr old. Dr. Buttar says in his interview that perhaps older children will only recover to the point of flipping hamburgers. Well let me say, when this child was 15 I would have been happy to think flipping hamburgers would have been possible. Today, four years later, this child has surpassed that and has demonstrated abilities and learned a trade to succeed in other areas. I believe it does take longer with an older child and a lot of hard work needs to be done to get here, but it is not impossible to progress even at those late ages.

It most certainly is Vince. There does not seem to be a ceiling on kids benefiting from chelation. Here are some helpful links my husband and I have pulled together on Bio-med.Don't give up.If you Email me privately I would be glad to help you understand the benefit of the dietary intervention and chelation with our kids. There is hope, kids can make good gains and feel a whole lot better with Biomedical intervention.Karen

out the DAN! "protocol" and try to find a DAN! doctor. I've met several recovered children.
Severe autism...turning into a mainstreamed kid. It IS possible and autism IS treatable.
Here's a resource to get you started:

Don't give up hope. Right now, I'm in the same boat. We started treating my daughter last
year with the DAN! protocol. She's making slow gains. She's six years old, severely autistic,
mercury toxic, bowel problems, few skills...low cognitive function...no speech.
But I'm hopeful we can turn it around.
