Welcome to EO Northumberland. This is an Education Otherwise group which is open to all home educators living in Northumberland, and to those considering home educating their children, members of EO and non members alike.

We hope to make it a friendly place to meet, share information and experiences and to offer each other support. It is a place to talk about what is important to you and your children, to find out about what is going on in our area, to share information and resources, to discuss ideas and to suggest activities, outings and events to suit any and all tastes and interests.

Northumberland is a large county and there are lots of things to do and interesting places to go, but many other areas are easily accessible too, so we hope to forge and foster links with home educators in neighbouring regions such as County Durham, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria and the Scottish Borders. Home educators in these areas are very welcome to join this group too.
