Welcome to ECLECTIC HOME EDUCATORS!

This group is open to all people, who believe in something MORE. We all home school for different reasons and in different ways, but we are similar in our quest to raise, nuture and educate our children. All of our reasons are valid and true.  We have been harassed, bashed, treated poorly by friends and family, neighbors, strangers on the street simply because we want the best for our children.  We want to home educate our children in the best manner that we see fit. 

Because the purpose of this list is to promote acceptance, communication and tolerance, we are secular in nature. Many of our members are devout in their religious beliefs be it Christian, Muslim, Pagan or Jew (or even atheist and agnostic). But that's not why we're here.  If you seek safety in numbers, look elsewhere, your target is easy to find. 

This group exists for those of us who yearn for a home, but haven't found it. If you find people of different beliefs difficult to understand, please don't waste our time. We welcome ALL people, ALL beliefs... however, we will NOT tolerate hatred, discrimination or closed-mindedness...We home school to avoid those types.
