This group is for parents and carers of children with disabilities in the UK who are involved in working locally to encourage their local authority and PCT to adopt, implement and monitor progress in achieving the 9 targets of the Every Disabled Child Matters Charters.

The group is a place for parents and carers to share experiences, discuss strategy and troubleshoot problems.

Professionals and other non-parent/carers will only be invited to join at the discretion of the list-owner and moderators.

A resource base will be created in the 'files' section of the yahoo group web site to house useful documents and web links.
