Description

Welcome to the Experimental Aircraft Association National Capital Chapter 186! This is a full service EAA chapter with technical counselors, tools and building materials, and headquarters at Manassas Airport. Members are from throughout the capital area.

This group serves lovers of flying and aircraft of all kinds--certificated and experimantals, operating planes and projects alike. This Yahoo group is for the exchange of information among chapter members about upcoming events, seminars, aircraft technical information, flight instruction, local airport issues, aviation legislation, and any other information pertinent to Chapter activity.

Membership in the EAA186 Yahoo Group is limited to current members of EAA Chapter 186. Membership in Chapter 186 requires membership in the National EAA organization.

If your engine is getting its tachometer reading from a Magnetto tranducer, be sure to secure the sensor wire coming off the magnetto. Those 26 AWG wires

I forgot to mention you need to select the proper hole. There is one for a RH rotation Mag and another for LH. A twist drill of the right dia inserted blunt

Putting mags back on
Folks, I just took off a mag to have it checked--didn't seem to be getting any spark on startup. Getting it off was easy; but how the heck do you get it back
