This group was established in order to assist people in adjusting to living in the Netherlands and provide a sense of camaraderie. The issues arising from this transition are many, and differ from person to person, and from minor to major extremes. Some people have fewer problems adjusting than others, but most agree that one of the most important factors in the adjustment period is having a "safe place" where one can talk freely about the frustrations they may be having.
