Description

The Dunwoody Forest Neighborhood Exchange is an open forum where you can post messages freely to other group members. While this group is primarily for messages of general interest to our community, the group also enables you to consult your neighbors about more personal concerns, anything from reliable roofing contractors to yard sale posts to lost and found. If a member sends an email to dunwoodyforest@YahooGroups.com, the message is immediately distributed to all members of the group.

GROUP GUIDELINES

Do not easily take offense when most likely none was intended. Remember that emails lack emotional information, intonation and facial expressions vital for normal communication. If you sense negative emotions from an email, look within yourself first and try re-reading with a more neutral or potential positive intonation. It's often better to wait a day or two then go back and re-read what was said before responding.

Remember that everyone here is human, and we're all entitled to bad days, misspellings and accidental bad phrasing. Try not to be too critical of people you don't know very well. Assume you misunderstood or don't have all the details. Ask questions, seek clarification, and listen carefully to the answers given.

Be quick to forgive when an apology is proffered.

As a participant in this community forum, you must be willing to hear and tolerate alternate opinions. Not everyone has the same perspective nor the same information. That's part of the message board's purpose, to hash out what's true and what's false. This is an open discussion board. Each person makes the final determination for his or her self.

Give your neighbors opinion due consideration and respect. That does not mean you have to agree with them. Feel free to post your alternative view. I think we're all capable of agreeing to disagree, or at least I hope that is the case.

No one person's opinion has more weight than any othe

Babysitter?
I know I posted this awhile ago (before we had any members really) so I thought I'd try again. Can anyone recommend a babysitter for a 3 yr old? Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We have decided to give Comcast another try because they do not require a contract. If they fail us again we will

Re: Internet Provider Question
You might consider AT&T's U-verse service.. (different than AT&T's DSL internet service). It's available in the neighborhood. It replaces Comcast for both TV
