of vampires though our sword-slinging, vampire slaying reality web series.

Our new official title is Second International Hunted Film Festival and Youtube
Competition. Yea, it's a bit pretentious, but we're registering with
http://www.withoutabox.com (international festival submission site) which will
give us international exposure. We will also be approaching a few new celebrity

So we're talking $1000, international exposure, new surprise celebrity judges,
and a possible screening at the 2010 CUT Film Festival in LA where Joss Whedon

mention there's no submission fee? And you keep all rights to your own video.

QUICK STEPS TO ENTER CONTEST

1. Create a 6-8 minute Hunted episode in the style of the show (reality TV)
following rules for The Hunted, Vampires and Slayers found at
http://www.thehunted.tv/profile_frameset.htm (Note - you can't kill our vamps
with a stake)

2. Subscribe to our Youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/thehuntedtv
and post your episode to our Youtube group at
http://www.youtube.com/group/thehuntedtv by March 1st, 2010

3. Also submit a full resolution (NTSC or better) Quicktime copy of the episode
to our ftp site at ftp.thehunted.tv (login with the user name "hunted" and
password "Slayer4hire"). Please keep the file size under 100MB in Quicktime
format.

JUDGING
Episodes will be judged on a combination of Youtube channel views, ratings &
comments, storyline, production value, acting, action, and whether or not it
makes us laugh. Submissions will be judged by a panel of professional judges
from the entertainment industry including writers, producers, directors and
stunt coordinators (Note: exact panel may change, subject to professional
commitments).

PRIZES
Top entries will receive global recognition and eternal glory in the form of
featured episode placement on The Hunted official website, as well as Youtube,
Facebook, Itunes podcast, and possible screening at 2010 CUT Film Festival in
Los Angeles. The top 3 entries will additionally receive a cash prize of $1000
for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.

Many of you already know how�active I am with�the Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR).�

Lupus is an auto-immune disease that causes a person's own body to attack it's own tissues and organs.� In the US alone, approximately 1.4 million people are afflicted, most (9 out of 10) are women.� Lupus is three times more common in African-American women than in Caucasian women and is also more prevalent in women of Latino, Asian, and Native American descent.

One of my best friends, Jenz, is affected with Lupus.� It is in support of her that I participate in the 2009�Los Angeles�Walk with Us to Cure Lupus Walkathon.� Also in the fall, we are planning a concert, with all profits to go to the ALR.

Please consider joining our team�by walking with us.� If you're not in the area, you can become a virtual walker.� Want to help out but hate the sun (who doesn't?!?), please volunteer to help out at our concert, or just let me know by emailing squeaky (at) gmail (dot) com and we'll figure something out.� Of course the easiest thing you can do is donate your hard earned cash MONEY.� (Every cent you donate goes directly to research)

We just got home from the latest Dungeonmaster cast meeting, practice, and the audition for the opening speech, and we are just bubbling over about the new cast members who passed their auditions. There's five exciting new actors with the troupe, of whom four were at the rehearsal, and we were astonished at how quickly the new folks fit in, and jumped in with their own interpretations. It's going to really energize the show, and we're looking forward to the upcoming season.

In addition, most of the experienced cast members participated in the audition process for [info]axelicious' opening speech as the dungeonmaster. I won't reveal who will slip into Mike's shoes, but I will admit that I was pressed into auditioning as well, and enjoyed it. One of the cast did a rendition that had us rolling on the floor, laughing, and I hope that he can be persuaded to take the stage once to do it for you all to your enjoyment and amazement.

This is going to be a great season...
