Dudley's turning into a decent drinking town now. In addition to the ones
below
there's also the Old Priory over the rod from the Courthouse(just the one
guest
on last time I was in there but a lovely old-fashioned backstreet boozer),
a
half-decent 'Spoons and the Fellows in the castle grounds does good
Holden's and
very nice food. Of course, a couple of quid each in a taxi gets you to the
Bull
& Bladder or the Sedgley/Gornal crawl.... I do miss living there.

Ta Dave
I'd never have thought of the Court House, it had a rep as a rough pub when
I
lived there, but now a Black Country Ales boozer - marvelous! I know the
Lamp of
course, 10 mins walk from my old home, have got to give the country
bumpkins a
taste of Bathams!
thanks for prompt reply

Castle, I'm in charge of finding somewhere nice to drink in town, but it's
a
long time since I last drank in Dudley. Any suggestions where a bunch of
yokels
would find some decent ale?
