The latest information from the Oakland Police Department (OPD) is that a rally is planned for 4:00-4:30 tomorrow (Jan 14) at Oakland City Hall, followed by a march down 14th Street to the Alameda County Court House at 12th/Oak.

OPD will facilitate the demonstration and march.  14th Street between Clay and Lakeside will be closed to vehicles and vehicle traffic will be re-routed . Parking on 14th Street will be impacted/not allowed and bus service will be re-routed.

Crowd estimates 800-1000 (organizer estimate) OPD has no firm figures. OPD expects peaceful demonstration but prepared for all contingencies.
