Douglas County Freecycle(TM), is open to all individuals in the greater Douglas County, Georgia area who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away.

The goal of this group is to reduce waste by connecting individuals who are throwing away goods with others who are seeking them - whether it's a chair, a fax machine, a piano or an old door.

One constraint:
EVERYTHING MUST BE FREE!

Please observe the following etiquette when posting:

1) NO POLITICS - NO SPAM.

2) SUBJECT LINE: Use these phrases...
OFFER: old couch
TAKEN: old couch (Offerer posts when the item is taken)
WANTED: old couch (Please use this one sparingly.)
RECEIVED: old couch (When you receive your WANTED item)

3) CAN WE USE THE FREECYCLE NETWORK TO FIND NEW HOMES FOR PETS?

a) NO pet WANTED posts of any kind
b) No OFFER posts for dogs, cats, puppies, or kittens
c) Fish, fowl, rodent, reptile, and farm animal OFFERs
are allowed.
d) Posts asking for and/or offering pet SUPPLIES
are allowed.


4) NO TRADING PLEASE.

5) FYI: RESPONSES GO ONLY TO OFFERER. It keeps down the sheer number of
emails.

6) PICK UP: Arrange as you like. Some members prefer to meet in a public
place. You DO NOT have to give an item to the 1st person to respond!
You are free to give, or not give, your item to any group member.

7) This group is NOT open to resellers at this time.

**Everything offered or wanted must be absolutely, totally free, legal, and suitable for all ages. All local, state, and federal laws should be adhered to when giving away or transferring the ownership of any possessions.
