LET'S GO DANCING!
This is a place for all who have a passion for dance. It's purpose is to make communication easier for all my friends who are interested in dancing in general, and we won't be focusing on a specific dance.

It can be intimidating to go to clubs/dance events when you are just starting out as a dancer and do not know many people. Even intermediate and advanced dancers enjoy going out with friends. Let's keep the clubs/dance studios we go to posted so others can join us! This is a great chance to get better acquainted with other dancers, try out what we learn in class, improve moves, and have fun.

Please make sure to check out the Calendar section often. I try to keep it updated with some of the current dance classes/events that I feel may be of interest.

Feel free to post messages, questions, event announcements, venue reviews, invitations to go dancing, etc. Please do not hesitate to participate and to add to the calendar or the message sections. This is OUR group and I would encourage you to participate.

Also, check the "Do You Only Want To Dance" file in the 'Files' section. It is one of my favorite songs and it was the inspiration for the group's name.

...and remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels!
