The purpose of this caucus shall be to promote the involvement of young individuals with disabilities in the political process; to promote efforts to make the political process more inclusive and more effective at all levels; to provide a forum for the discussion of and advocacy on issues concerning individuals with disabilities with disabilities; and to support individuals with disabilities who live up to the principles of the Disability Issues Caucus of Young Democrats of America, the Young Democrats of America, and the Democratic party.
