Welcome to your starting point in world searchng as Directory World showcases the largest and most comprehensive provider of organized internet sites. Instead of fighting the explosive growth of the web, this forum provides the means for the internet to organize itself, thus as the net grows, so do the number of net-citizens. These citizens can each organize a small portion of the web and present it back to the rest of the population, culling out the bad and useless by keeping only the best content. Just as the Oxford English Dictionary became the definitive word on words through the efforts of volunteers, we are striving in its footsteps to become the definitive web catalog. Founded in the spirit of the "Open Source Movement," our mission is to steer people to find what they're looking for quickly through a directory with quality results. Thus, an individual manually reviews each internet site to allow the relevant listed links within each category. In an effort to minimize the list of categories, additions can be made as we want to make every effort to keep it easier for users to find things online. It has been said that you get what you give in which provides the opportunity for everyone here to contribute within this community. Post new web sites by main page URL before management hand indexes them into appropriate topic order after checking for accuracy within a maximum seven days to verify it is current and active. Acceptable mail options for this participating group are "Individual E-mail" or "Daily Digest" as a "Net-Citizen" needs to emerge for a change in posting status.
