This is great news. It means that the throttle is capable of slot following
untethered. Now if only I can make mine work. I just tried with a UT4 plugged
in and stole the same engine on the untethered DT402D. It does not follow the
UT4. I then set up a throttle in Decoder Pro and same thing. No indication on
the DT402D. I then used the throttle I had in RR&Co, and same thing. No
movement or indication on the untethered DT402D.
When I plug the DT402D in it follows perfectly, but so did the DT400R.
I'm hoping when Digitrax reads my emails Monday, I may get an answer.

exactly as described on page 19 of the manual. When running untethered on the
402D I can than select the loco on a UT4 or on an a Decoder Pro throttle and
adjust speed on those throttle and the 402D adjusts accordingly and I hear the
audible click.
