I'm not sure I totally understand "slot following" but my DT402D performs
exactly as described on page 19 of the manual. When running untethered on the
402D I can than select the loco on a UT4 or on an a Decoder Pro throttle and
adjust speed on those throttle and the 402D adjusts accordingly and I hear the
audible click.
