Welcome to the DeSoto County, Mississippi Freecycle(TM) Network.
A group dedicated to recycling throughout Desoto County. Cleaning out closets, yard sale leftovers? You want to give it away; you've come to the right place. Please include a brief description of your offer and general location in your post. Keep your post as simple as possible and please list all your items under one post. Freecycle(TM) has a NO STRINGS ATTACHED policy.
Freecycle(TM) is not here to furnish your house or ask for donations. A very important rule here is you MUST post MORE OFFERS than WANTS. We allow one Want post per 7-day period with two items max per post; once per month for same item. No explanations allowed on why an item is wanted.
these are very important, please take note
1) NO POLITICS, RELIGION, SPAM, MONEY, PERSONAL ATTACKS/RUDENESS. One strike you're out. (this is the only exception to the two strike rule. If you are guilty of these, ONE strike and you will be banned.)
2) KEEP IT FREE, LEGAL and APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES. This means, no Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms or Drugs, legal or otherwise. This is our main rule to live by; it's a pretty easy one at that. NO ADVERTISING your YARD SALE, as you're looking for money and that isn't free.
3) SAFETY. FREECYCLE(TM) NETWORK MEMBERS USE THE LIST AT THEIR OWN RISK. Please take reasonable measures to protect your safety and privacy when posting to the list or participating in an exchange.
