This listserv has been created for the benefit of the SOUTH ASIAN* QUEERS** LIVING IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLY.

* South Asian here means those born in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma (Myanmar), India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tibet or are of South Asian descent and/or who identify themselves as South Asian.

** Queers - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Intersex, Queer and Questioning.

Postings can cover a variety of themes including coming out, support, culture, politics, organizing, events, as well as poetry, essays, fiction and other expressions of queer desi creativity. Who knows, you might even meet that special someone!

Anyone sending personal ads, spam, sexually explicit (including adult websites and attachments), hateful, prejudicial, or commercial material will be banned from the mailing list. No solicitations, duplicate postings and commercial mail will be allowed either. Groups and listservs are not allowed membership, unless approved and moderated.
