Among other things we believe it is amiss of the gospel to teach that a person must speak in tongues to be saved, or that speaking in tongues is a definitive sign of a second experience called 'baptism in the Holy Spirit'.

The forum offers friendship, unbiased love and understanding, interaction among members, prayer, special counsel, and periodic Bible studies. DepartingUPC is not a debate forum. The Christian walk must always be governed by love in all areas of communication. If we see there is a problem with bad manners or bad communication, a member will be dismissed, and possibly banned from the forum.
