The Denver Turnverein, an elegant turn-of-the-century historic site, has been home to Denver's social dance clubs since its founding in 1918.

September 7 MONDAY BALLROOM DANCE

Monday, September 7, 2008    7:00PM - 10:00 PM

7 PM – 8:00 PM Dance Lesson, optional, in the Rathskeller, Class with Jim Killeen, $5 separate fee paid to the instructor.

7:00 PM - 10:00 PM General Dancing

DJ, Carolyn Cattani, will play the dance music - a mix of All Ballroom Dances (She has over 3,000 ballroom selections in her library), as well as Salsa, Argentine Tango, Lindy/Swing, Hustle, and West Coast Swing.

Suggested dress for this dance is Dress to Impress, comfortable and casual dance attire.  Please bring and wear dance shoes to help preserve the floor.  The Monday Ballroom dance cost is $5 per person for Turnverein members, $8 for non-members, cash or checks, only  PLUS $5.00 for the optional Dance lesson.  

Admission price includes general dancing, outstanding refreshments, and cash bar.  Dance lesson is $5.00 additional.
