Note: this message has been sent to the entire list as there is no way to
sort the Yahoo group for non-members.

Also, you do not have to pay membership in multiple clubs if you attend more
than one!

All 2008 Turnverein memberships expired December 31st. The full membership
year is the calendar year. Membership dues were pro-rated July 1, 2009 for
the last six months of the year.

The pro-rated dues amounts effective July 1 are:
$29 Single
$20 Senior (age 65 and over)
$20 Student (full time with photo ID)
$54 Dual (two persons living in same house)
$66 Family (more than two persons living in same house)

The Turnverein Cultural Center is actually owned by its members!

The TCC is a non-profit corporation whose primary purpose is to provide
affordable space to its member clubs.

One of the benefits of TCC membership includes lower admission to the five
member club dance events - Ballroom, Colorado Swing Dance Club (Lindy);
Rocky Mountain Swing Club (West Coast Swing); Salsa Central Denver; and
Tango Colorado (Argentine Tango).

We strongly encourage you to join on-line if at all possible. With over 1550
members in 2008, this is a huge amount of data entry. On-line memberships
are paid through PayPal, using a credit card or checking account. If you do
join on-line, please make sure your address, phone numbers, and e-mail are
correct. Joining or renewing on-line also enters you instantly in the
membership database!

To join on-line go to the Turnverein website:
http://www.denverturnverein.org/ unless you are joining RMSDC or if you are
joining multiple clubs and wish to have voting rights in RMSDC*. Click on
the Join/Renew Membership link on the home page of the Turnverein website.
Be sure to check any member clubs whose functions you attend, but do not
check additional clubs yet if you only have an interest in them, but are not
attending them yet.

You can also download and print a paper membership form from the website,
or reply to this message and let me know you would like a membership form.

Membership forms are also available in the foyer of the Turnverein and
downstairs.

*RMSDC strongly requests that you join directly through RMSDC, due to their
non-profit status and voting rights issues. RMSDC dues have been set exactly
the same as Turnverein dues this year. RMSDC has also added the same
membership categories as the Turnverein in addition to individual (dual,
family, senior and student). (All members of RMSDC are also members of the
Turnverein.)

Note: you do not need to pay membership in more than one Turnverein
member club to belong to multiple clubs! The six member clubs are Ballroom,
Colorado Swing Dance Club (lindy hop), Rocky Mountain Swing Dance Club
(West Coast swing), Salsa Central Denver, Tango Colorado, and the Denver
Turnverein Chorus. However, please select only clubs which you actively
participate in now; not just clubs you have an interest in. You can always
be added to the member lists of other clubs in the future.

as possible about what the problems were. We cannot provide assistance or
improve this function without knowing exactly what problems you experienced.
