Participants are also being asked to consider donating at least one piece for a silent auction that will help raise money for future art projects. There is no formal theme for this show but we are offering ideas:

Since then, Deacon has performed across the country and worked with such notable comedians as: Dave Attell, Lewis Black, David Brenner, Drew Carey, Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K., David Cross, Ellen Degeneres, Craig Ferguson, Jeff Foxworthy, Bobcat Goldthwait, Kathy Griffin, Mitch Hedberg, Bill Hicks, D.L. Hughley, Sam Kinison, Robert Klein, Richard Lewis, Norm MacDonald, Paula Poundstone, Brian Regan, Chris Rock, Bob Saget and Wanda Sykes.

In June of 2008, Deacon was named the grand prize winner of the Great American Comedy Festival, held at the Johnny Carson Theater in Nebraska.  Deacon was also chosen as Oklahoma's Funniest Person five times, and was selected to represent the state on Showtime in the 1991 National Lampoon Laugh-off at the Sahara hotel in Las Vegas. In 2000, Gray moved to Denver, where he now serves as New Talent Coordinator at Comedy Works, overseeing the development of new and amateur comedians.

New Carpet
Thank you to Staci Giovino - RMSDC for working with her vendor, Robert Shalvey, Atlas Carpet Mills, to get new carpet donated for our entry. It looks lovely! The final bill on the carpet installation is $764 ($364 for labor, $400 for pad). The carpet valued at $50/square yard was donated. We got a $4,000 job done for $764!

Air Conditioner
We have upgraded controls, and that Munters (the manufacturer) has agreed to do a field modification to re-engineer the coils, and that all of this should improve the performance of the unit.
