Welcome to Denver Freethinking Homeschoolers! Our group is for liberal, inclusive homeschool familes in the Denver area. Faith can be a personal subject, and many non-traditional or other-faithed homeschoolers can somtimes feel marginalized. Here, we welcome open-minded and kind-hearted Unitarian ( UU ), Pagan, Atheist, Agnostic, GLBT, Liberal, Buddhist, (add any religion) families. As long as you demonstrate genuine respect for others' diverse faiths and lifestyles, you're welcome here. Flaming or proselytizing is not tolerated. We want ALL families in our group to feel safe being able to be who they are and believe as they want.

We plan regular get togethers, field trips, co-op-style classes, monthly moms' night out, celebrations, holidays and a weekly park day. Our members are active and participatory in real life, not just online (participation is required). We know each other and are true support in each others' lives, like bringing meals to sick friends & watching each others’ kids.

We're happy to welcome new friends, we request that you follow a two step process of 1) filling out our survey and 2) attending a Park Day, before your membership can be started.
