Our club exists to promote the dog sports, BigAir,ExtremeVertical,and SpeedRetrieve through our parent organization, DockDogs. Currently we are adding members to our ranks and locating more places to practice and train. Last year we made the DelMar Waterfowl pond in Dover DE our central practice site and hosted our first event there in August. Mike Galloway became our new President, we've expanded the Board, and things are really beginning to shape up for Delmarva! We already have several events in the planning stages for 2009 and would like to see more folks join in on the fun! Any healthy dog(incl. mixed breeds)over 6 months and kids 7 years old on up(accompanied by adult)are welcome to compete!(Children 6-yrs old who will be turning 7 this year are eligible!)

Our next event is the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, MD November 13-15. It is the premiere waterfowl carving exhibit in the Country and always enjoys a large turn out. In the past we've had a wonderful variety of dogs and handlers from all over the Eastern half of the U.S. We've even had Festival exhibitors compete with their dogs! You will not find a venue with more spectators and enthusiasm in your travels! This is a great event and I hope you'll join us there at the pool!

As usual we're looking for volunteers to help out--work a Wave or a day; it's much appreciated. And you get D3 dollars for waves or merchandise!
Set-up day is Thursday Nov 12 if you can spare time between 10am-3pm.
