This group has been established for Volunteers of the Oklahoma Chapter of Newborns In Need, Inc., (NIN) a very special volunteer charity. This is a National organization with the Home Office located in Houston, MO. Please read what our President shares about NIN:

“ WE NEED HELP! Can you sew? Can you knit or crochet? We are on the look out for volunteers of many talents. We are an organization that makes layettes, clothing and blankets for sick, premature and needy infants. Did you know that many premature babies in Oklahoma go home from the hospital in only a tiny diaper? Did you know that some of our premature infants who have met their demise are buried in only a paper sack? This is where NIN steps in. Even those tiny babies in ICU need special clothing to wear with openings for all their little tubes and so forth. We so deeply want to give those angels the love, care and dignity they so deserve! Even if you cannot help make clothing, we have other volunteer opportunities available for you! We need a voice behind us! We need flyers distributed, patterns cut, inventory recorded, fundraising operations… our list of needs are endless! If you want to help, we can find a job or position for you no matter how big or small!”
