This group is for Decatur and Central Illinois area homeschoolers to buy, sell, and trade homeschool, teaching, and children's items.

All replies default to the original poster, not the group, to keep email volume to a minimum.

If you wish to read the posts only from the archives, please set your membership to "special notices" so you can receive messages from the moderators.

Always sign your posts, list your contact information, give prices, and discuss pick-up/delivery/shipping.

Please use clear, descriptive subject lines with common swap board acronyms. Failure to do so will result in your membership being set to "moderated" status.

Subject line descriptions:

FS = for sale
WTB = wanting to buy
ISO = in search of
Free = an item you are giving away
Sold = item has been sold
Found = ISO item located
Bump = bumping a message "up" on the list

As a seller/giver, please reply to all inquires so members aren't left wondering the item(s) status. Also, please update the group with the status of items.

VERY IMPORTANT: please update the group with the status of items when they are sold, given away, re-listed, etc. This way when reading the message archives, everyone will know the status.

All message posts have a two-month life in the message archives. After that time messages regarding items will be deleted. To help the moderators with this task, please remove items you no longer have available. Find your message in the archives and click on "delete".

You may "bump" a message no earlier than once per week until the item is sold.

All transactions are between the seller and the buyer. The list owners and moderators are not responsible for these transactions. Please do bring any issues to our attention.
