This site is designed for stay at home moms living in the DeKalb/Sycamore, IL area. It has been set up as a place for us to get to know each other, make friends with similiar interests and have children of the same ages! Possibly even form some playgroups for the kids and moms alike!

*** We are a free-form group! I am hoping as we get larger, we can work as a group to plan events and fun things! If you have an idea for an event or something, there is no need to have it "approved" by anyone in the group! Just go ahead and post the event, and we'll consider you the *host* of that particular event! Also, feel free to add to the links on the left side of the page. Feel free to add databases, photos, polls and links that you think would be appropriate for this site!

***A note on planned events: Once you become a member of the online group, you can choose how you want to use the group! You can simply use the online feature. You can pick and choose which events you would like to go to or you can make it to all of them! There is no minimum activity required for membership! You can use the group as much or as little as you like. You can check it often or not at all, and you will always be welcome when you return!

Please keep information *family friendly*, although not all topics need to revolve around families & kids! We can chat about anything that we want to! Want to vent about something; kids, partners, life? Go ahead! Just keep everything supportive and nice!

I hope we'll get a great group of women together for this fun group! *I will also note here, that while the group is titled Stay-at-Home Moms, we will also welcome Stay-at-Home Dads!* If we get any Dads, we can always change the name of the group!
