We are a committee of men & women putting on the Daytona Beach PrideFest 2009 on Sunday April 26th at City Island Park Downtown Daytona Beach on the mainland. We are a committee associated with Efficacy Inc. that formed to put on an annual Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgendered pride event in Daytona Beach for the GLBT communities of Volusia and Flagler counties. We are seeking to promote self esteem and pride among those individuals who identify themselves as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered. We also want to promote tolerance, dialog, understanding and friendship with people who do not identify themselves with the GLBT community.

We seek volunteers to help organize and create the regular annual event and to staff various positions at the event. We also are looking to organize other events throughout the year that are in keeping with the previously mentioned ideas.

If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity where you can have a great impact or just want to be kept informed , you can meet with us. Your time and effort can impact the Volusia and Flagler county communities in a positive way.
