Darlinda Just Darlinda:
From a commune in Northern California, raised on The Cockettes, Bette Midler, and Modern dance, at 4 years old Darlinda stumbled into Burlesque. After attending an Ethnic Dance Festival in San Francisco, California; Darlinda was inspired to do a nood interpretive dance of the whole festival, thus beginning her career as a performer. A year later Darlinda founded the Polyester Dancers. After a hiatus of 20 years, Darlinda has reincarnated the group as Darlinda's Polyester Players, performing at Polyester Garden Parties and Green Goddess Mud Soirees. As a solo artist Darlinda Just Darlinda seducing us with her Polyester Performance*, hilariously sultry striptease, faux modern dance, tassel twirling lessons, jazz tunes and interpretative performance art.

*Darlinda has coined the term Polyester Performance, this art is a mixture of Burlesque, Modern Dance, Performance Art, Psychedelic Happening, Comedy Sketch, and Drag Queen Ballet.
