Mark: I like the tone of your idea. Parking employees and Cat Exp people for sure! And... Additional, read that ADDITIONAL, dry storage. If the county could not destroy the parking lots we have including trailer launch parking, dry storage, and dedicated boater and build more buildings until they found offsite parking I wonder how much they'd build?
I get the feeling that by the DPBA working to create a marine store, dry stack, and surface storage up the creek that the county will try to use that as mitigation and we'll all be screwed. I mean aren't the "boaters" asking for that? Unfortunately, they are playing into the county's hand.
You are right, parking cars offsite and boats in the harbor is an interesting concept.
